Finding the Right First Job

You are probably already thinking about - or dreading - finding a job.  But even in this tough job market it's important to find the right job - where you can contribute your skills in a compatible environment.  Unfortunately, most students don't understand the culture of the companies they end up working for until it is too late.  I will introduce you to the ways businesses are organized and talk about the kinds of business cultures you might encounter and how to recognize them.  I also have tips on finding the right culture for you, what to do before your first interview, and how to negotiate your first salary. 

There's a lot of advice out there on how to write a resume and how to dress for an interview.  Let me tell you what you really need to know.
