Recognize yourself?

Kitten

As we went through the list of difficult people, did you recognize yourself in any of these scenarios?  Are you judgmental and overly critical of your peers?  Do you sometimes agree to do something and then just blow it off?  Or maybe you lose your temper when you get really frustrated?  If so, you might want to consider how your behavior is affecting your co-workers.  For example, it's ok to be demanding and expect high quality work from others - as long as you understand that even when people do their best, deadlines can be missed for purely external reasons.  Computers crash, people get sick, higher priority projects take precedence and it's no one's fault.  Blaming others isn't the solution.  Accepting setbacks and finding creative solutions with the other team members makes you a dependable and enjoyable person to work with.
